Our client, a US-based company, is looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our Kyiv-based Engineering team.

Requirements

Upper-Intermediate level of English and is ready to communicate with team in the USA is a must
2+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Practical skills in using test design techniques
Knowledge of REST APIs and client-server architecture;
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar
Experience DevTools in Chrome/Firefox (network, console, etc.)
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Experience in writing clear test work products (test plans, test documentation, bug reports etc.)
Experience in working with Jira, Confluence or similar tools
Experience in working with TestRail or similar tools

Nice to have:

ISTQB certification is a nice to have, but familiarity with its basics is important, as we follow ISTQB-aligned QA processes
Familiarity with mobile and SDK testing
Basic understanding of programming concepts and ability to read code is a plus (ability to learn and grow in JS Cypress test scripts)

Responsibilities

Manual testing of our Web analytics services
Mobile testing for our SDK digital product
Requirements analysis, UI testing, API testing, learning data structures etc
Maintain effective test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports) with high coverage
Take ownership of quality for assigned features and contribute to release readiness
High cooperation with US and Ukraine Development teams
