Software Development Lifecycle Consultant
We are looking for a Software Development Lifecycle Consultant for our client.

Requirements:

Proven experience in SDLC governance, software development methodologies, and process optimization.

Strong understanding of regulatory and industry compliance standards (ISO27001, SOX, GDPR, etc.).

Hands-on experience with SDLC tools, particularly Azure DevOps, including setup, configuration, and administration.

Experience in defining and implementing governance policies, guidelines, and best practices.

Ability to assess current software development processes and identify governance gaps and improvement opportunities.

Strong project management skills, with experience in stakeholder management and crossfunctional collaboration.

Experience in integrating SDLC governance practices with related processes such as change control and incident management.

Excellent communication and training skills to ensure effective stakeholder adoption.

Familiarity with performance measurement, KPI definition, and audit mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Prior experience working in an enterprise or regulated environment is a plus.

At least Upper-Intermediate English is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in IT governance (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) or project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe).

Experience in enterprise DevOps transformations and large-scale process improvements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into structured governance processes.
Responsibilities:
-
Lead the unification of disparate SDLC processes across in-house and third-party development teams.
-
Design and implement a tailored SDLC governance framework aligned with our client’s structure, business needs, and technology landscape.

Establish governance controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, SOX, GDPR).

Enhance visibility, accountability, and quality across all stages of the SDLC.

Define clear roles, responsibilities, and processes for stakeholders involved in software development, delivery, and support.

Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current in-house developed software products, SDLC processes, governance gaps, and stakeholder needs.

Develop policies, guidelines, and process flows to support the SDLC governance framework.

Integrate SDLC governance practices into existing processes such as EMPO, change control, and incident & problem management.

Oversee the setup and configuration of core SDLC tools, particularly Azure DevOps, to support the governance framework.

Design integrations between SDLC tools and other applications to enable seamless end-to-end processes.

Provide training sessions for key stakeholders to drive effective adoption of governance processes.

Pilot the governance framework within select projects, gather feedback, and refine based on learnings.

Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of SDLC governance.

Develop an audit mechanism to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement.
