R&D Operations & Project Manager (Ops/PM in R&D)
Role overview
We are looking for an R&D Project Manager who will be the central coordination point between our R&D teams and all key stakeholders.
The core mission is to collect, structure and distribute information from R&D so that every stakeholder sees the real status, understands priorities and can make quick decisions.
Key responsibilities

Сollect, structure and distribute information from R&D.

Organize and facilitate planning, daily and weekly syncs, demos and retrospectives for the team.

Assist with product roadmap development.

Keep the backlog updated

Ensure transparent status tracking: tasks, risks, blockers, changes in scope or requirements.

Ensure effective communication between R&D, production and operations teams, founders, investors, other stakeholders.

Communicate with customers and stakeholders: explain product status and roadmap, collect feedback, provide progress updates and manage expectations.

Identify risks early (technical, schedule, supply chain, legal) and drive mitigation plans.

Continuously improve processes, documentation, reporting and knowledge sharing inside R&D.

Act as a “single point of truth” for your projects. If someone has a question about status, scope or timing, they come to you.

Fluency in English (at least B2).
What we are looking for
-
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager / Operations Manager or in a similar role.

Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams (engineers, QA, hardware, operations, etc.).

Ability to work with technical products and quickly understand new technologies

High level of personal organization and ability to structure chaos into clear processes.

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence: you can handle conflicts, explain complex topics in simple language and keep everyone aligned.

Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changes, make decisions under uncertainty and find solutions in non-standard situations.

Experience in hardware / embedded / UAV / robotics / defense projects.

Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, ClickUp, Notion, etc.).

Experience working in startups or small fast-moving teams.
