Senior/Middle Magento 2 Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly-skilled  Magento2  Backend developer to join our team. You will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to bring engaging and user-friendly e-commerce solutions to life. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Adobe Commerce features.

• Contribute to feature design and architecture.

• Ensure quality via best coding practices, reviews, and tests.

• Enhance availability, performance, scalability, and security with monitoring.

• Maintain and update production infrastructure.

• Ensure Security and Compliance with Adobe Standards.

• Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless integration with various third-party systems and services.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve any back-end issues or bugs.

• Act as a point of technical expertise for the back-end team, contributing to architectural discussions and decisions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Magento 2 development. 

• Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture, customization, and best practices.

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Git, JavaScript, and REST API development.

• Experience with DevOps (IaC, CI/CD, k8s, AWS preferred).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

• The ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with JIRA.

• Upper-intermediate English level. 

Will be a plus:

• Magento 2 certification  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
