Senior Backend Engineer (Python, C#)

Our client is an early-stage startup on a mission to transform customer service with Gen AI and telephony. With a small but dedicated team, they are building an innovative AI platform for AI call agents.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in backend development with experience in microservices architecture and cloud platforms, specifically Azure.

• Proficiency in using Azure cloud services such as Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, etc.

• Experience with telephony platforms such as VoxImplant and/or Twilio.

• Languages: Python, C#.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to create scalable backend solutions.

• Collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment.

• Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsibilities:

• Key contributor to the development of our AI platform’s backend, ensuring robust and scalable architecture.

• Collaborate closely with our small, agile team to implement backend services using Azure Function Apps and manage APIs.

• Manage and optimize databases, including Cosmos DB for live data and user profiles.

• Integrate AI models using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Studio for advanced search and response functionalities.

• Ensure seamless integration with our AI call agent platform.

• Handle telephony integrations with Twilio or VoxImplant for smooth customer interactions.

• Innovate and contribute to the overall architecture and design of our platform, focusing on scalability and performance.
