Senior/Lead Magento 2 Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly-skilled Magento 2 Backend developer to join our team. You will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to bring engaging and user-friendly e-commerce solutions to life. The role will also include mentorship of junior developers, technical leadership, and contributions to architectural decisions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver high-quality Adobe Commerce features.
Contribute to feature design and architecture.
Ensure quality via best coding practices, reviews, and tests.
Enhance availability, performance, scalability, and security with monitoring.
Maintain and update production infrastructure.
Ensure Security and Compliance with Adobe Standards.
Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless integration with various third-party systems and services.
Provide mentorship to junior team members.
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve any back-end issues or bugs.
Act as a point of technical expertise for the back-end team, contributing to architectural discussions and decisions.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in Magento 2 development.
Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture, customization, and best practices.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Git, JavaScript, and REST API development.
Experience with DevOps (IaC, CI/CD, k8s, AWS preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
The ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, familiarity with JIRA.
Magento 2 certification will be a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Upper-intermediate English level.
