Our client is building a technology-driven mortgage marketplace that connects lenders and investors through smarter pricing, automated eligibility assessment, and end-to-end transaction management. The platform modernizes traditional mortgage workflows by replacing manual processes with scalable, data-driven solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer who will take ownership of product features from end to end, working across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and core business logic. You will contribute to the development of loan pricing and investor eligibility engines, integrate with external mortgage industry providers, and help build a reliable, scalable platform.

The role offers broad technical ownership, direct impact on product development, and the opportunity to work with modern AI-powered development tools and AI-driven product features.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack features using Vue 3, TypeScript, Python, and Django REST Framework.
Build and improve core business engines for loan pricing and investor eligibility matching.
Integrate with external systems, including loan origination platforms, due diligence providers, credit bureaus, and property valuation services.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, background processing pipelines, and data models.
Ensure application quality and reliability through automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Use AI coding agents in daily development workflows, orchestrating multiple agents while reviewing and validating their output.
Build AI-powered product capabilities, including LLM-based features, agents, retrieval systems, and evaluation workflows.
Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver features efficiently and maintain high standards of code quality and user experience.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise across both frontend and backend development.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Vue.js and TypeScript.
Strong Python skills and production experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
Solid understanding of REST API design, relational database modeling, query optimization, and safe database migrations.
Experience building and maintaining complex platforms involving third-party integrations, real-world business data, and scalability challenges.
Practical experience incorporating AI into software products, including LLM-based features, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or evaluation systems.
Daily hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools, including the ability to manage parallel workflows and critically assess generated code.
Experience writing automated tests using tools such as pytest, Vitest, and Playwright.
Strong UI/UX awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate directly with US-based colleagues.
