We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to join a project for a leading financial services client in Vienna. You will support the development of a new advisor-facing application and work closely with business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Remote within the EU + 2 days per week onsite in Vienna

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and product managers
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders
Analyze existing banking and advisory processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Support developers during implementation and clarify functional and technical questions
Validate delivered solutions against defined business and technical requirements
Identify technical dependencies, risks, usability concerns, and potential performance issues
Maintain structured and up-to-date project documentation

Requirements

Several years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Analyst, System Analyst, or Requirements Engineer
Previous experience in banking or financial services
Strong understanding of application development, APIs, system integrations, databases, and software development processes
Experience translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira, and Confluence
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
C1 English level

Nice to have

Experience with advisor-facing banking applications or digital banking platforms
Knowledge of banking advisory processes and financial products
Experience with process modelling, solution architecture, testing, or UAT
