Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

Our client is building an AI-powered platform that simplifies financial, accounting, and business operations through modern technology. They are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the development of a modern greenfield product.

This is a temporary B2B contract position. The initial engagement is project-based, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and business priorities.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build scalable, user-focused solutions. You'll take ownership of features from concept to production while contributing to technical decisions and product evolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end product features.

• Build scalable frontend and backend applications using modern web technologies.

• Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and intuitive user interfaces.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in short development cycles.

• Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering best practices.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications.

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Backend development experience with Node.js, FastAPI, or similar technologies.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and modern deployment workflows.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.

• Experience using AI tools as an integral part of the software development workflow.

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on SaaS products.

• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment environments.

• Startup or greenfield product development experience.

• Experience mentoring other engineers.

• German language skills.
