Sr Full-stack Developer (Node.js / TypeScript / Java)

Our client is a global health marketing, communications, and transformation platform specializing in Marketing, Comms, Transformation, Access, and Media, partnering with leading healthcare and life sciences organizations to drive growth through data-driven insights and a human-centered approach, supporting products across the full lifecycle from early development to commercialization.

As a Custom Software Developer, your role will be to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and services. This role requires strong experience in backend and full-stack development using Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment and has an interest in emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions.

Position: Full-stack Developer (3-month contract, full-time)

Note: Strong potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, strategists, and project managers.

• Build and maintain APIs and microservices using Node.js and Java-based frameworks.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in TypeScript.

• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Java.

• Solid experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and/or microservices.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.

• Understanding of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools like Claude.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React.
