About the Client
Our client is an international product company operating in the esports and online gaming space. The team is currently preparing for the launch of a new web-based platform and is focused on rapid execution, high-quality design, and fast go-to-market. The product is being developed by a distributed team working across different time zones.

About the Product
The product is a pre-launch Counter-Strike–themed esports and gambling platform built for web (Desktop and Mobile Web only).  The core focus is delivering a highly gamified CS experience with modern UI patterns and engaging interactions.

The team is moving quickly toward launch, with an estimated 8–12 week timeline, so speed, autonomy, and clean execution are critical.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on UX/UI Designer who can immediately start working in Figma and support the existing design team. This is a supporting designer role, not a lead position.
You will collaborate closely with:

  • A Lead UX/UI Designer responsible for product logic and wireframes

  • A Visual/Asset Designer responsible for cases, characters, and animations

Key Responsibilities

  • Work daily in Figma with full autonomy and no onboarding hand-holding

  • Create and update wireframes for new games and product features

  • Design UI layouts for Desktop and Mobile Web

  • Maintain and extend existing design systems as the platform evolves

  • Support the team in organizing and structuring Figma files

  • Ensure visual and structural consistency as new games are added

  • Prepare UI assets in the correct formats for web implementation

  • Ensure responsive behavior across devices and browsers (Desktop, Mobile Web, Safari, Chrome)

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma with the ability to work independently

  • Strong understanding of modern web UI patterns

  • Solid experience with responsive web design (Desktop + Mobile Web)

  • Experience preparing UI assets for different screen sizes

  • Understanding of browser compatibility, especially Safari

  • Comfortable working in a supporting or assistant designer role

  • Ability to collaborate asynchronously across time zones

  • Upper intermediate English leve

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on gambling, gaming, or esports platforms

  • Familiarity with the Counter-Strike ecosystem (skins, cases, core mechanics)

  • Basic understanding of UI/UX animations and micro-interactions

  • Experience designing interface animations

  • No need for complex After Effects or character animation skills

Working Conditions

  • Part-time engagement: Monday - Wednesday

  • Initial duration: 8 weeks (with potential extension up to 12 weeks)

  • Flexible schedule, async-friendly collaboration

  • Team operates outside EU time zone
