Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)
Our client is building the future of financial modeling—a "hybrid" interface that combines the rigor of an Excel grid with the intelligence of an AI agent. We have a powerful backend engine and a Design Partnership with Patria (a premier PE firm), but we need you to define how it looks and works.
We are looking for a Lead Designer who can take high-level requirements (PRD) and turn them into a coherent Information Architecture, User Flow, and polished UI. You aren't just applying a theme; you are solving the core interaction model.
What You’ll Own (0 to 1 Design)
-
Information Architecture: Define the structure of a complex "Project" which includes 3-statement models, scratchpads, chat history, and document repositories.
-
Core UX Patterns: Solve the "Hybrid" interaction—how does a user seamlessly switch between typing in a cell (Grid) and asking an AI to "fix the model" (Chat)?
-
Wireframing to Hi-Fi: Rapidly sketch concepts to align stakeholders, then move to production-ready Figma specs for engineers.
-
The "Trust" UI: Design visual systems that show what the AI changed in the model so financial analysts feel safe (audit trails, diff highlighting).
Requirements
-
0-to-1 Capability: You have taken a rough idea or PRD and delivered a full product design without existing wireframes.
-
Complex Systems Thinking: You excel at organizing dense information. You’ve designed dashboards, data grids, or SaaS tools where "density" and "clarity" must coexist.
-
Figma Mastery: You build systems (Variables, Auto-layout) that allow us to iterate fast.
-
Speed & Autonomy: We are in a 12-week build cycle. You can make decisions and defend them.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with Financial Tech, Excel/Sheets plugins, or Data Analytics tools.
-
Familiarity with "Generative UI" concepts (designing for dynamic content).
