Our Client is a fast-growing creator-management agency that produces short-form, high-engagement content for Instagram Reels. The team focuses on trend-driven, school-themed videos designed to boost views and drive subscription revenue for its talent roster. The company operates fully remotely, works at start-up speed, and values editors who can turn raw footage into viral clips under tight deadlines.
 

 

Requirements

  • 6 months+ of experience editing short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.

  • Proficiency in CapCut or similar tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, InShot); CapCut and Edits preferred for speed.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram’s algorithm, trends, and best practices (e.g., hooks, pacing, engagement tactics).

  • Fluent English and understanding of American culture for effective communication and content alignment.

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with hybrid PST time zone flexibility (asynchronous after onboarding).

  • Portfolio showcasing short-form videos with transitions, captions, and storytelling, ideally rage-bait or trend-driven.

  • Comfort with adult-themed content and discretion with sensitive material.

  • Detail-oriented, creative, and able to handle high-volume workloads under tight deadlines.

 

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with OnlyFans or adult entertainment content.

  • Familiarity with motion graphics or basic animation for enhanced effects.

  • Knowledge of cross-platform strategies (e.g., repurposing Reels for TikTok).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit 180 short-form Instagram Reels per week (6-7 seconds) for 3 assigned models, using provided raw footage.

  • Replicate viral Reel styles by applying school-themed transitions, captions, background music, and trending sounds.

  • Follow brand guidelines, emphasizing high school aesthetics (e.g., settings, school activities, rage-bait hooks).

  • Optimize videos for Instagram’s algorithm (e.g., strong hooks within 3 seconds, 9:16 format, trend-driven edits).

  • Collaborate with the marketing manager to refine edits based on feedback and performance data.

  • Meet tight daily/weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Stay updated on Instagram trends, transitions, and rage-bait strategies to keep content competitive.
